A former Aberdeenshire care home manager who allowed elderly patients to be inappropriately restrained and failed to investigate falls has been suspended.
Pamela Tavendale worked at the Mowat Care Home in Stonehaven.
A Nursing and Midwifery Council hearing considered a number of allegations and ruled Ms Tavendale failed to respect the dignity of patients.
She was handed an 18-month interim suspension order.
The ruling stated: "The panel has decided to make an interim suspension order.
"In reaching its decision, the panel had regard to its findings and its decision to make a suspension order for a period of 12 months.
"The period of this order is for 18 months to allow for the possibility of an appeal to be made and determined."
