Hospital 'starved' elderly mother
A woman has claimed an NHS hospital "starved" her elderly mother rather than continue her care.Ellen Westwood, 88, was in Birmingham's Selly Oak Hospital for two months being treated for dementia and C.difficile, which she had previously contracted.


Suicide pact pensioner walks free
A man who tried to carry out a suicide pact with his wife after she was taken into care with dementia has been spared jail by a judge at the Old Bailey.
