The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has found the quality of care provided by Wisteria House Dementia Care Ltd as "Outstanding" overall following an inspection in January 2016.

Nearly three quarters of care homes originally rated Inadequate have improved their ratings following re-inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). As a result, over 12,000 people across the country are now experiencing better and safer care from these services.
Despite government promises that mental health services are no longer the poor relation within the NHS, there is evidence that many patients are still having to travel long distances from their homes to access care.
